About Me
I am 22 years young & married to my high school sweetheart. I have my AA in History & I plan on receiving my BA in European History. I've decided I want to be an author. Writing is the only profession where no one considers you ridiculous if you earn no money. Right now I live at home but Dwight and I are looking into base housing.
I was born an east coast girl but raised to be a west coast girl. Being a Navy wife means even more of an adventure! Home is where the Navy sends us but our hearts will always be in California. Look beside each sailorand you will find the people who fight with them. The spouses, the sons, the daughters, the families, we serve too and I am proud to call myself an Navy wife.
Dwight & I got married December 20, 2008. It was the most amazing day of my life. It all felt like a dream. Seeing him standing at the alter waiting for me was the best thing ever. The look on his face was sheer joy. We were both so nervous I was amazed no one had to catch us. He is my hero & the most amazing husband ever.
I know love on an entirely different level from most. I know the love that spans time & space; that love that most people are constantly searching for. I'm one of the girls who waits months for a single kiss; a kiss that will make the months apart worth every second. A kiss where everything in the world stops & for what seems like eternity, you can see into that person's soul & know that without them, life is not worth living. I'm the one who spots a Navy sticker, license plate, or flag & feels a connection with its owner, hoping that maybe I'm not alone in this melancholy, sacrificial situation.
